The main tasks of the Press Service are to prepare and deliver official information, statements, announcement, and comments on the urgent issues concerning the SZRU activities to mass media. In the case of necessity, the Press Service can organize press conferences, briefings, and interviews with SZRU officials, assists Ukrainian and foreign mass media in obtaining necessary information about the SZRU activities, gets in touch with authors of articles and documentary film makers. The information support of mass media is conducted on the basis of the Law “On the intelligence bodies of Ukraine” according to which such information should not contain data of State Secret. Organizing professional consultations, the Press Service can provide assistance to authors of articles, memories, books and filmmakers concerning the SZRU activities.
